Spoofers Have Been Banned, And They're Upset???

After a few weeks of location spoofing players (spoofers) receiving warnings and 'Shadow Bans' from Niantic, Niantic finally pulled the trigger on banning spoofers. And for some reason, spoofers feel rather slighted for the deed.

Spoofers seem pretty upset after Niantic enforced their own 'user agreement' or 'Terms of Service' that we all agreed to abide by to use their software.

The honorable game players seem pleased that the folks with the major unfair advantage in the game are gone. For the time being. That means that those of you that couldn't get into your own gyms in your small, remote towns, can now get some gym time from users you've never seen in your town.

Others feel that now that spoofers are out of the way, they feel free to start spending money to play the game, because they felt that spoofers that were jumping all over the world had such a huge and unfair advantage that it wasn't worth their time to try and play the game. Plus, if Niantic wasn't tacking spoofers, why play the game?

Then there are the spoofers.

Some of them are complaining that now that they can't travel (teleport) around the world to build their Pokemon collection and are upset that they're restricted to what they might be able to catch in their own region.

Others are besides themselves of the travesty of being banned by Niantic and have some choice words for the company protecting their own digital game.

One particular spoofer who flaunts spoofing is a YouTube personality whose channel is FsuAtl. One day he was talking about how to play the game while spoofing and not get caught. Then the next day even those who were following his spoofing instructions got banned and he had a very disappointing message in that days' video. The next day, he had another video about how to spoof and not get caught. Again. As if the last video was so successful.

FsuAtl has had a great channel, but has quite a few videos on how to spoof. He's pretty flagrant about it, but quotes numbers that can't seem to be substantiated, like how up to 90% of all players are spoofers.

He further had some choice words for Niantic for banning those who were playing the game violating game policies. He says they're lose money. But I'm sure Niantic knew what they were doing.

My favorite part about FsuAtl's lambasting was when he took a swing at the honorable players, saying good luck getting raid parties together without spoofers. LOL.  He then went on the brag the Niantic didn't catch him yet during this massive, blanket ban.

Since he spoofs (and shows himself spoofing while making his videos), he probably doesn't know about this mystical process called Discord, where people like myself coordinate and come together for many raids. That's how I've accumulated a dozen or more legendaries, using this mystical channel.

(Psst, there's a great, honorable-based YouTuber called "Trainer Tips," if you want to follow and listen to his great videos.)

So we all have our own ways to play games. Some of us play within the boundaries of the game guidelines, while others seem to want to break any rules a game provider sets up to achieve their lofty goals. They just want to beat the game, no matter how.

I get wanting to spoof. That way one can totally fill up their Pokedex with quite a few rare creatures. But I'm not sure how one can feel great about themselves defeating game rules to achieve their lofty, cheating goals. So sure, beat thy chest, but if there are players out their sitting at the same stature as you. but did it honestly, THOSE are the true game playing heroes!

But hey, we all have our own ways of accomplishing various goals. And somehow, some of us can make amazing excuses to feel good about it.
